About the Judging Committee:
The judging committee will be made up of past finalists/winners from the past 25 years. If selected judges cannot participate, several community leaders (non-governmental) will be selected to join the judging committee. A judge with a personal stake, familial relationship or Board participation of a nominee is unable to vote in that category. Each category will have 7-9 judges.
Eligible nominees are given the opportunity to complete a questionnaire, which is then passed along to the judges to score independently. The highest-scored nominees are named the winners.
